Benstead Construction
A new site with a page for every community and service they cover, written by people who understand the work. From 18 impressions and one click in the week before launch to 3,290 impressions and 44 clicks in the last 28 days.
When someone in your town searches for a roofer, builder or scaffolder, most of the work goes to the firms at the top of Google. We put you there, then keep you there. SEO and web design for tradesmen, by construction people, from £200 + VAT a month with no contract.
Most trade websites were built once and never touched again. They look fine, but Google can't tell what you do or where you work, so it sends the customer to someone else. We have now checked more than a hundred trade websites across Kent and the Home Counties, and the same six faults come up almost every time.
One page saying "we cover the area" won't rank in ten towns. Each town you want work from needs its own page, written properly, not the same text with the name swapped.
Your page title is the blue link on Google. If it says "Home" or just your company name instead of "Roofers in Maidstone", Google has nothing to match a search to.
Checkatrade, Yell and the rest hold three to five of every ten results, sit above you, and charge you per lead for customers your own website should be winning.
A homepage with 300 words and a gallery gives Google nothing to rank. The sites on page one in your town have written far more, and we can show you exactly how much.
The map at the top of Google wins the phone calls. The wrong category, no services, no new reviews and no photos keep you out of it even when your work is better.
No reporting, no new pages, no idea if it works. Websites that sit still slide down Google while competitors who keep adding pages climb past them.
"Good" only means matching the firms that are beating you. So in every town we work in, we measure them first.
These are the three roofing websites holding page one in five Kent towns, measured in October 2026. In one of those towns, 52 roofing companies were trading, 32 had a website, and 2 were on page one.
| Kent town | Homepage words | Pages on site | Town pages |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ashford | ~1,350 | 65 | 29 |
| Aylesford | ~1,200 | 82 | 12 |
| Canterbury | ~3,600 | 41 | 11 |
| Dartford | ~1,270 | 83 | 43 |
| Maidstone | ~1,150 | 79 | 34 |
Average of the top three organic roofing sites per town, Google UK, October 2026. Directory sites excluded.
Most trade sites we review have under 500 words on the homepage, fewer than 10 pages and no town pages at all. That gap, not the design, is why they are on page three. The monthly plan closes it one page at a time.
Before we offered this to anyone, we did it for construction firms we run ourselves. The figures below come straight from their Google Search Console, checked 13 October 2026.
A new site with a page for every community and service they cover, written by people who understand the work. From 18 impressions and one click in the week before launch to 3,290 impressions and 44 clicks in the last 28 days.
Existing site upgraded: county and town pages rewritten, business details coded for Google and AI search, 49 five-star reviews finally doing some work. Six days after the upgrade went live, ChatGPT sent them a customer.
Customers are asking ChatGPT for trades now. A homeowner in Beaconsfield asked it for a scaffolder in Buckinghamshire, and it named Ox Scaffold, a firm with zero Google visibility in that town. Every site we build is set up to be found by Google and by AI assistants.

No big upfront bill and no contract. We improve your site a step at a time, biggest wins first, and you see the results every month in your own Search Console.
We check twenty searches for your trade and your towns, who holds page one and the map for each, and audit your website and Business Profile against them. Free, no obligation, yours to keep.
We turn the breakdown into a month-by-month plan, with the cheap fast fixes first and the new pages after, so your site gets measurably better every single month.
Every month you get a plain-English report: where you rank, what moved, what we did and what's next. Stay because it works, not because you're tied in.
Full detail of what each month includes is on the services and pricing page.
Two options. Most firms start with the monthly plan on their existing website. All prices are plus VAT; Imadoer Ltd is a UK VAT-registered company.
No contract. Cancel any time. First month 50% off: £100 + VAT.
One-off. Up to 5 pages. Extra pages £200 + VAT each. 50% to start, 50% when you're happy.
We only work with construction and trade businesses, so we know how your customers search, what they are nervous about, and what makes them pick up the phone. SEO for roofers is where most of our work is; the method is the same for every trade below.
Anywhere in the UK. The work is done remotely on your website, your Google Business Profile and your Search Console, so distance does not come into it. Imadoer Ltd is registered in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire; our own firms are in Oxfordshire and Dubai; and our first website reviews have gone to roofers across Kent, in Ashford, Maidstone, Canterbury, Dartford, Tonbridge and Aylesford.
Not tricks, and not a dashboard full of jargon. It means that when someone types "roofers in Maidstone" or "scaffolding hire Bicester", your website is the one Google shows, your Business Profile is in the map, and the page they land on makes them ring you. Local SEO for tradesmen is mostly pages, details and patience, done properly and kept up every month.
A growing share of customers now ask an AI assistant to recommend a trade instead of searching Google. Those assistants read the same website you do, and they read Bing.
On 28 September 2026 a homeowner in Beaconsfield rang Ox Scaffold because ChatGPT had suggested them for scaffolding in Buckinghamshire. Google had not shown Ox Scaffold for a single Beaconsfield search in the previous month. What made it possible was nothing clever: the site let AI crawlers in, the business details were coded on the page in the format assistants read, the name, address and phone matched everywhere, and there was a dedicated county page to point to.
We set up every site the same way, and we check your visibility on Bing as well as Google, because Bing is what ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot search. Some SEO firms still recommend blocking AI crawlers. We will never do that to your site.
Imadoer comes out of construction project management and estimating. We know what a good job looks like, what customers worry about, and how to write about your work so it rings true. More about who we are.
Pages about roofs, extensions and scaffolds written by people who've priced and managed them, not generic filler.
Everything we sell, we've done for construction businesses we run. You get the method that worked, with the numbers, not a theory.
No contracts, no fake reviews, no link farms, no copy-and-paste town pages. You own your website, and you stay because the results are there.
No, and nobody honest can. What we do guarantee is that the work is done properly, that every change is listed in your monthly report, and that you can see the progress yourself in your own Google Search Console.
Title and description fixes show within days. New pages are usually picked up by Google within a week or two, and on our own sites well-built pages have reached the top 10 within four days. The bigger searches build over two to three months, and every month's report shows you where you've moved.
Usually not. Most firms start on the £200 + VAT monthly plan and we upgrade their existing site step by step, whatever it was built on. If your current site genuinely can't be fixed, we'll tell you straight, and a new custom-coded site is £1,000 + VAT.
Nothing dramatic. There's no contract and no exit fee. Everything we've built on your site stays yours, your hosting and Google accounts are already in your name, and nothing stops working.
If you're a construction or trade business in the UK, yes. Roofers, builders, scaffolders, electricians, plumbers and heating engineers, decorators, carpenters, plasterers, landscapers, kitchen and bathroom fitters, loft converters and groundworkers.
Directories are fine for filling gaps, but you pay per lead and you're listed next to your competitors. The same searches that send people to Checkatrade can send them to your own website instead, where you're the only firm on the page. Most firms keep their directory listing and use the site to reduce how much they rely on it.
A check of twenty Google searches for your trade and your towns, who holds page one and the map for each, and a health check of your website and Google Business Profile against the firms beating you, with a plan in order of what would move you fastest. It's yours to keep whether or not you work with us.
Because the work a local trade business needs is specific and repeatable, and because one person does it with no office, no account managers and no sales team. We take on a few firms at a time, and the first month is half price so you can judge the work before paying full rate.
Get a free breakdown of your website and Google rankings. We'll show you what's holding you back and who's taking your customers. No cost, no obligation.
